About the Piece

I captured this during our expedition through the Antarctic Peninsula, and the absolute silence was overwhelming. The zodiac's engine was cut, and we drifted in glass-calm waters as this immense glacier wall loomed before us. The blue hues trapped in centuries-old ice seemed to glow from within, creating this ethereal palette that no digital manipulation could ever replicate. I waited for the perfect stillness, when even the smallest ice fragments ceased their movement, to capture this mirror-like reflection.
