Pink Clematis on Georgian Railings at Bath Royal Crescent

I've walked the Royal Crescent countless times, but this particular spring morning stopped me in my tracks. The clematis had erupted overnight into this magnificent display, draping the famous black iron railings like a floral waterfall. The soft overcast light was perfect—no harsh shadows to compete with the delicate pink petals against that iconic Bath stone. I positioned myself to capture the repeating rhythm of the Georgian columns while letting the flowers take center stage.
