I was wandering through the narrow streets of Kathmandu when I heard rhythmic footsteps approaching. I quickly positioned myself as this beautiful procession passed by—grandfather, fathers, and son all dressed in traditional Nepali attire with their iconic dhaka topi caps. The elderly man holding the young boy's hand while balancing ceremonial offerings moved me deeply. This is the Nepal I came to capture—living traditions passed hand to hand.
