I discovered this breathtaking poppy field while driving through the Spanish countryside in late May. The storm clouds were building over the Pyrenees, creating this incredible dramatic tension between the fiery red blooms and the brooding sky. I waited for the light to soften, allowing the vibrant reds to truly pop against the moody backdrop. The wind was picking up, making each petal flutter like tiny flames across the endless meadow.
