Ecuadorian Elder Portrait Against Vibrant Blue Wall

I found this gentleman sitting quietly outside a small tienda in the Ecuadorian highlands. The brilliant blue wall immediately caught my eye, but it was his patient, knowing gaze that made me pause. He held prayer beads loosely in his weathered hands, his traditional colorful bag draped across his chest. The two empty chairs beside him seemed to wait for friends who might arrive, or perhaps memories of those who once sat there.
