About the Piece

I captured this during a visit to the Roman Baths when I noticed one of the costumed interpreters mid-story, her expression so animated and genuine. The warm Bath stone columns behind her created this beautiful golden backdrop, and I loved how her wool and linen garments transported us two thousand years into the past. It was one of those fleeting moments where past and present seemed to merge.
