I discovered this incredible patch of lupines growing wild along the Alaskan coast, their vibrant purple blooms dancing in the cool breeze. I positioned myself low to capture the flowers reaching upward like natural skyscrapers, framing the distant snow-capped mountains that seemed to float above the silver tidal flats. The dramatic clouds rolling in added a moody backdrop that perfectly contrasted with the cheerful wildflowers.
