I was wandering through the narrow streets of Kathmandu when I heard music and chanting approaching. This wedding procession appeared, led by barefoot men in traditional dhaka topi caps carrying ceremonial vessels. The young boy walking with such purpose beside his elders, past the ancient Hindu shrine—it was a perfect collision of timeless tradition and everyday life that I had to capture.
