About the Piece

I captured this extraordinary moment while our zodiac drifted silently through the ice-laden waters of Antarctica. These curious seals surfaced around us, completely unfazed by our presence, swimming playfully between the floating ice. The sheer scale of the glacial mountains behind them reminded me how small we truly are in this pristine corner of our planet. My fingers were numb, but I couldn't stop shooting—moments like these are why I travel to the ends of the Earth.
