I spent hours on my hands and knees along the Galápagos shoreline, waiting for this incredible Sally Lightfoot crab to pause just long enough. The moment the morning light caught those fiery red legs against the electric green algae, I knew I had something special. These crabs are notoriously skittish, and capturing one face-on required patience and a lot of slow, careful movement.
