About the Piece
I held my breath as this magnificent golden iguana approached the scrub brush, completely unfazed by my presence. The Galapagos wildlife has no fear of humans, and I was able to capture the exact moment it reached for those tender green leaves. The texture of its ancient scales and that knowing look in its eye reminded me why Darwin was so captivated by these islands.
