I was driving through the Sacred Valley when these endless waves of yellow wildflowers stopped me in my tracks. The storm clouds were rolling in fast over the Andes, creating this incredible contrast between the moody sky and the sun-drenched fields below. That little farmhouse with its terracotta roof seemed like it had been placed there by a painter—perfectly nestled among the patchwork of blooming fields. I only had minutes before the rain arrived, but this single frame captured everything I love about Peru's highlands.
