About the Piece

I captured this moment from our expedition vessel as we drifted silently through Paradise Bay. The stillness was almost overwhelming—no wind, no sound except the occasional crack of distant ice calving from the glacier. The monochromatic blue palette stretched endlessly, making it feel like we had sailed into another dimension entirely. I held my breath while shooting, afraid even that small movement might disturb this perfect frozen cathedral.
